Saurabh Pandey is an actor and model from India, who predominantly works in India television industry and Bollywood. He is most famously known for his portrayal of Lord Krishna in the serial Suryaputra Karn that appeared on Sony Entertainment Television. Apart from that, he has also worked in many other Hindi serials, both in lead as well as supporting roles.

Early Life and Childhood: Saurabh Pandey

Saurabh Pandey was born in Delhi India on 11th May, 1988, and he comes from a Hindu Brahmin family. His hometown is Gurgaon, in Haryana. Not much is known about his parents as that information has never been made public, but we know that his father’s name is Sharad Pandey and his mother’s name is Ila Pandey. Saurabh has two siblings – a brother named Gaurav Pandey and a sister named Neha Pandey. Both his siblings work in the film industry, with Neha Pandey being a stylist and casting director who has worked in several Hindi and Punjabi films, and his brother Gaurab Pandey is also a popular Indian actor, and has appeared in several ad films shown on Indian television.

Although Saurabh was born and brought up in Delhi, at the age of fifteen, his family moved to Haryana, causing a big change in his life. This also prompted him to make new friends in his new neighborhood.

Saurabh did his schooling from St. Mark’s Senior Secondary School, Janakpuri. Saurabh then did further studies in Mussoorie, where he ended up being a student of Mussoorie Modern School for a period of six months. Saurabh and his brother Gaurab also attended the SelaQui International School.

Career: Saurabh Pandey

Saurabh Pandey started his career in the year 2007 where he debuted in the serial Jiya Jale, alongside Sriti Jha. He acted in many other serials in prominent roles, like Shaurya Air Suhani, Razia Sultan, Ganga Ki Dheej and many more. His most popular role so far has been the role of Lord Krishna in the show Suryaputra Karn. He gained critical acclaim for his portrayal.

Personal Life: Saurabh Pandey

Saurabh Pandey was in a long term, long distance relationship with Indo-Canadian model Zara Barring. After a decade-long courtship, the two got married in 2017 on 28th November, at the ISKCON temple in Juhu, Mumbai. They have a small child together.

Saurabh took a break from acting for four years, from 2011-2015 after battling with a period of drug abuse. He did that to get better, to spend more time with family and to get over his addiction problem. Thankfully, with the help of the right treatment and rehabilitation, he was able to get sober and get back to working.

Appearance

Saurabh Pandey is 5’11”, with a tanned complexion of his skin, dark brown eyes and dark brown hair. He often was seen having a close buzz cut with bread, and was often seen with more flowy hair and a clear shaven face. It is not known if he has any tattoos or piercings. He has a good number of followers on his social media page, and he regularly posts there.
